HEALTH REPORT by Dale

MADE IT TO MEDICARE

I reached a milestone in my life; I will be eligible for Medicare January, 2010. I never
thought I would live this long and now the government is going to help pay some of my
medical care until the Lord calls me home or they run out of money. ( I would not bet on
which will happen first.) I am happy to get anything because I have paid through the nose
all my life just to get to this point. I know that I will never ever get back all that I paid in, but I
feel like I have won the lottery just to be getting my Medicare card. I guess they haven’t
heard about all the health issues that I have because no health insurance agency would
ever talk to me if I was uninsured. I still feel great and I am looking good except for my big
belly. The rest of my body appears to be a perfect specimen when I gaze into the mirror,
but my big belly tells me that all is not well and that I have some work to do. My grand-
daughter Carlie talks about her PaPa with the big belly which obviously distinguishes me
from her other PaPa. Consequently, I am not going to worry about my big belly anymore
because my granddaughter doesn’t care and she likes it. Besides, I will soon be on
Medicare. Here’s wishing you good health and happiness this holiday season.
