Mission Projects
December 2009

We are in the process of setting up mission projects for 2010. The money is being sent
for the water project in Los Choritos, and we believe the project will be finished when we
arrive in the spring of 2010. We are working on the dates and putting together the
volunteers who will be going back to Honduras with us. Once again, we hope to do a
medical project, Bible studies, Bible schools, preaching and possibly a building project. A
special thanks to everyone who has given financially to make the dream of clean water for
this village a reality. God is blessing the work there and we are excited to be a part of all
that is being accomplished through Mercy & Grace Ministries.

Financial Outlook
December 2009

We are not a doom and gloom type of ministry who will tell you that unless you send
some money for our ministry we will cease to exist. We are now into our 33rd year in full-
time evangelism and we have yet to experience a year in which we did not have to
exercise faith in our Lord and His people in order to continue the work. This year is no
different than any other for us, but there is no doubt that the economic conditions are
severe and affecting a lot more people. We certainly need another miracle at the end of
this year and we believe that somehow it will happen if the Lord intends for us to continue
with this ministry. If it is time to step down, then He will reveal that to us as well. To all of
you who have given so graciously through the years and for those who continue to believe
in and support the ministry of Riddle Evangelistic Association, we thank you from the
bottom of our hearts and ask for your prayers for God’s guidance in the days ahead. God
owns everything that exists because He created every-thing, and one day everything will
return to HIM, the original owner. All we are asked to do is to use our blessings from God
wisely and for His glory and praise.

“..God has said, ‘I will never leave you; I will never forsake you.’ “ Hebrews 13:5.
A YEAR FULL OF BLESSINGS
December 2009

We are thrilled to announce the birth of our third grandchild this year. Miss Brielynd Faye
Riddle was born November 7, 2009, weighing in at 6 pounds and 14 ounces. She is the
daughter of our son Morgan and his wife Bethany. She is the first grandchild on Bethany’s
side of the family, so there were four very excited grandparents at her birth. Brielynd is a
pretty little baby. We had the cutest twin babies, Luke and Lela, from our daughter
Tamson and husband Keith Jensen on June 1, 2009. Plus we have our beautiful four-
year-old, Carlie Jensen. We have been so blessed by our God who gave us these
wonderful grandchildren.

Have a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year!

Elmore Rouse
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Riddle Evangelistic Association

Mr. Elmore Rouse, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Riddle Evangelistic Association,
died August 21, 2009. Elmore was the Chairman of the Board from the inception of
Riddle Evangelistic in 1977 until his death. He died from complications of a staph
infection. Elmore loved the Lord and served Him until the end of this life. He served the
Lord faithfully at Parkway Baptist Church in Greensboro, NC, where we first met him. He
and wife Edith later moved to Topsail Beach, NC, and he faithfully served in several
capacities at Emma Anderson Memorial Chapel at Topsail. Elmore is greatly missed. We
ask that you pray for Edith and for his son Jim and his daughter Pam and their families.
