A NEW DIRECTION!
March 2009

In August 2009 Gilda and I will begin our 33rd year in full-time evangelism. God has
blessed us so abundantly and we have had the joy of sharing the love of Christ in
hundreds of churches throughout our nation and in many countries. We are now moving
toward the twilight of our ministry and it is our desire to finish well. For this reason, we
believe that God is leading us to focus on ministering to people in poor undeveloped
countries such as Haiti, Cuba and Honduras. Naturally, we will continue to share the
gospel of Christ, but our focus will be to feed, clothe, build homes, churches, schools and
orphanages for the poor. Riddle Evangelistic Association is not a large organization, but
Gilda and I have a lot of friends who follow and pray for our ministry.

We believe that you, our friends, can help make all this possible. If you are willing to help
us build a home, provide money for food programs, build a church or school, adopt a
child and provide resources to help him or her attend school, then please let us know.
You can-not imagine what a few hundred dollars can provide in other countries. In these
first 32 years of ministry we have never directly asked anyone to support our work , yet
God always provided our needs. However, we do not feel that it is wrong to ask help for
others. I promise you that the gifts you send will go directly to the cause that you choose
to support. We are convinced that God will continue to provide for us as we seek help for
others in His name. If we are to finish well , we must obey our Lord's command, “Do unto
others.” Jesus said that one day each of us will be judged on the basis of what we did for
others. “I was hungry and you gave me meat, thirsty and you gave me drink, naked and
you clothed me, sick and you visited me, a stranger and you took me in.” When did this
happen, we ask? “When you have done anything for others, you have done it for me and if
you fail to do for others you have failed me” Our heart's desire is to follow God's
command, and we cannot do it without help from our friends. Thanks for your

HONDURAS MISSION TRIP
March 2009

Dale Riddle, Danny Collins and Dr. Gordon King along with two different teams from
Fairlawn Baptist and Jessup Grove Baptist will be serving in Honduras from April 6 to
April 24. The first group will arrive on the 6th and depart the 15th. The second team will
arrive on the 15th and leave the 24th. Dale, Danny and Dr. King will be in Honduras the
entire time. The mission project this year will be comprised of building a church and
school, conducting vacation Bible schools, feeding the poor, evangelistic meetings, Bible
conferences, workshops and doing medical work. Dr. King, along with volunteer nurses
will be providing free medical care at a clinic and doing surgeries. Dr. King performed
over 75 surgeries last year and this year he may do as many as 300. Los Chorritos will
be an ongoing project for many years because the village has no water or electricity and
the people are extremely poor. We are hoping to get churches and individuals in the
future to help bring in water, electricity, adopt a child , feed and clothe the poor, send a
child to school and build homes for the basically homeless. Please pray for these
projects. Most of the village is now Christian due to the love that is being expressed to
them by other Christians. Would you ask God if He wants you to help us in some way and
also ask if He wants you to travel with us on future missions projects? Dr. King is in his
seventies and had surgery for lung cancer not long ago; therefore, don't make excuses .
